Oddly enough, The Smiley Face is what Ingmar Bergman and LSD have in common.

I had a great day. To celebrate, I updated my FB Profile Picture with the classic Smiley Face icon.
As a seeker of truth, I wanted to confirm the smiley face acid story that lingered in my head. What I found was that there there was some relevance as it relates to the Acid House movement of the 80’s in the UK.
The first happy face recorded on film can be seen in Ingmar Bergman’s 1948 film “Hamnstad”. See full timeline of the Smiley Face.
We’re all connected.
Have a Nice Day!
Since I can only do one thing at a time as evidenced in this post on multi-tasking, I am increasing the efficiencies of managing my tasks. Since I’m “right-handed”, I need pen and paper at the ready on my desk. Since my belly requires constant care, a plate of food also needs a convenient place as well. Since the only space available is to my left on a tv-tray, I am learning to eat left-handed. It’s a new #challenge.
Or maybe I’m just trying to relate to the Ned in all of us.
ps- this should clear up previous tweet.

With frequency of use comes comprehension. Still trying to figure out tumblr and use as publishing platform. - RETodd.
Even though I’m sitting wearing slippers, this rings in my mind. As I was preparing dinner tonight, I walked through the front room and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Two of my favorite local outdoor brands were evident in the logos displayed in the reflection. As I sat down to eat, I considered how the rest of my wardrobe was also a bit telling of my preferred brands as well.
Head to toe: Frequency Magazine hat, Jean Lafont glasses, Kulshan Cycles hoodie, Blackhook Porter tshirt, Sherpa bottoms, Fruit of the Loom nuthuggers, Smartwool socks, and LL Bean slippers.
Every piece has a story tied to it and I remember where I got them.
